Jasper Morrison

Jasper Morrison (born 1959 in London) studied design at the Royal College of Art and Kingston Polytechnic in London, as well as at HDK in Berlin.  After completing two degrees, he opened a design office in London in 1986.  That office is still open today, and he has since expanded his presence around the world, opening branches in Paris and Tokyo.  Over the last three decades, Jasper Morrison has designed for a number of well-known brands, including Alessi, Cappellini, Flos, Glas Italia, Ideal Standard, Magis, Maruni, Muji, Olivetti, Rowenta, Samsung, and Vitra. He was responsible for the design of the Hannover Tram that was awarded the IF Transportation Design Prize and the Ecology award.
