Re-Rug emerged from the decision to use the leftover wool accumulated by suppliers. The Re-Rug collection is made using the hand-loomed dhurrie technique, resulting in rugs with a flat structure formed from the cross between the warp and weft. In the case of Re-Rug, in order to obtain greater strength and quality, the structural part of the rug, i.e. the warp, is made of dyed New Zealand virgin wool. The weft is made of marbled recycled yarn of varying thickness and color. The result is a unique collection that is composed of 50% New Zealand wool and 50% recycled wool.
