Jacopo Foggini (born 1966 in Turin, Italy) and currently lives and works in Milan. His work manipulating methacrylate blurs the disciplines of fine art and design.  Foggini began working with this industrial material in the early 1990s by super heating it and producing filaments that can be molded by hand in fascinating ways.  His first exhibition was in 1997 and in addition to creating individual pieces, he has created a range of furniture and lighting for Edra that functions on a highly sculptural level - always challenging preconceived notions of form and materials.
