Marzio Cecchi
Marzio Cecchi (1940-1990) was an eclectic and visionary Italian architect and designer who founded Studio Most in Florence during the 1960s  He was known for a "total design" philosophy, creating everything from a building's structure down to its smallest interior objects.  His work with Studio Most produced avant-garde, highly sculptural furniture that challenged traditional conventions through the use of bold forms and industrial materials like stainless steel and neon, as well as organic materials like rattan and banana leaf.  Italian manufacturer Gufram has revisited one of the designer's seldom-seen seating designs from the late 1960s, Fachiro - reissuing it in 2026 as a limited edition of 99 examples.
