Gordon Guillaumier

Gordon Guillaumier (born 1966) studied industrial design at the IED, Milan from 1988 through 1991 before earning a Master's in industrial design at the Domus Academy, also in Milan. Upon completing his degree, he accepted an internship with Baleri Associati. “It began with a summer job,” Guillaumier said in an interview with Dear Magazine. “I had just finished my undergraduate studies, and I had a six-month break before the Master. So I thought I'd rather have an internship than lying all the time on the beach. And so I ended up with the small furniture manufacturer Baleri in product development.” He later opened his own design and consulting studio in 2002 in the same city where he completed his education. Over the course of his career he has collaborated with a number of popular brands including de Sede, Dornbracht Interiors, Driade, Tacchini, and RODA.
