Emmanuel Gallina

Emmanuel Gallina (born 1972 in France) studied at both E.N.A.D (Limoges) and I.A.V (Orleans) before earning a master's degree in design and management from Milan's Politecnico. His design work includes furniture for brands such as Poliform. Gallina's pieces put a strong emphasis on the elegance of simplicity, and he often quotes Constantin Brancusi… “Simplicity is complexity resolved.” In addition to his design work, Emmanuel Gallina teaches at Milan’s Politecnico and gives lectures around the world. His numerous awards include the First Prize Utopia 1.0 (2002), Design 21 Unesco Award (2002), Imm Interior Award (2011), Archidesignclub Palmares (2013), and Wallpaper Design Award (2016).
