David Raffoul (born 1988) and Nicolas Moussallem (born 1987).  The design duo studied together at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts and the Scuola Politecnica Di Design in Milan after which they founded their own Beirut-based design studio, david/nicolas, in 2011.  Their experiences, both locally and from abroad, filter into their work enriching not only the content but ultimately the aesthetics.  Their work revolves around an idea to try to create timeless pieces; their style has often been defined as retro-futuristic because of the way they work with different periods of design and then mix them up.
