Designed by: Verner Panton
Manufactured by: Verpan
With the Cloverleaf Sofa, Panton created a comfortable seating area that offers ample room for communication. This makes it ideally suited to today's office, where there is an increasing need for intelligent transitional elements between different office zones: places for withdrawal from the busy activity of the office environment as retreat, as well as islands for communication to meet.
The principle of the Cloverleaf Sofa is based on a modular system that can be adapted to the size and function of a room. Individual modules can be joined to create a variety of shapes, such as a circle, curve or horseshoe. The organically shaped modules create a series of niches that alternately face inward or outward. In this way, the Cloverleaf Sofa offers plenty of space for team meetings, but is also well suited as an attractive sculptural piece for lounge areas. Manufactured by Verpan.

Verner Panton (1926 – 1998) was born in Gentofte, Denmark. He studied architecture at Copenhagen’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts before interning at Arne Jacobsen’s architectural practice. Panton launched a successful career in furniture and interior design soon after, opening his design studio in 1955. He became well-known for his avant-garde designs infused with a futuristic op art aesthetic, experimenting with vivid colors and the influence of lighting on surroundings. Panton’s work is manufactured by a number of brands including &Tradition, Louis Poulsen, Verpan, and Vitra. Panton’s designs are included in the permanent collections of museums around the world.
