Melt Small Chandelier features four opalescent shades protruding from steel tubes and measuring one meter high. By retaining Melt’s organic form, we have created an opal version, which boosts its luminosity. To complement our range of metallic shades, we've introduced Opal as an alternative finish for interiors that have a more monochromatic style. Semi translucent, it maintains an ethereal ghostliness in the daylight and at night forms perfectly illuminated orbs. UL listed. Manufactured by Tom Dixon.
Designed in 2020.

Tom Dixon started receiving critical acclaim in the mid 1980s for his furniture designs - by the late 1980s, his designs were being produced by Italian manufacturer, Cappellini. In the 1990s, he founded Eurolounge and unveiled his hugely successful iconic Jack “sitting, stacking, lighting thing” in 1997. The following year, he joined Terence Conran’s Habitat, where he remained as its Creative Director for a decade. In 2002, Dixon launched his namesake brand that produces an ever-expanding collection of furniture, lighting, and accessories including now iconic pieces like Mirror Ball, Copper Shade, Wingback Chair, and Beat Light. Dixon’s designs have received numerous awards and are included in the permanent collections of museums worldwide including the Victoria & Albert Museum, London; Museum of Modern Art, New York; and Centre Pompidou, Paris. The designer has also created a number of engaging interiors through the Tom Dixon brand subsidiary, Design Research Studio.
