Fiord is carved out of a single block of scented cedar wood that has been expertly carved to obtain its unique, asymmetrical shape that sports a sweeping concave profile. Its top surface features the cedar block's inherent concentric tree rings - indeed, dendrochronology becomes surface pattern. A fabulously enigmatic form that functions as much as sculpture as it does a seat or even a small table. Cedar wood is available in several finishes. Manufactured by Riva 1920.
