The Tatami rug is available only in a double layer of felt. This rug is created by joining Felt elements with Punto Zigzag. The rug's surface is composed of square elements of 100 x 100 cm which are embroidered with Punto Matelass. The embroidery of each element consists of a series of parallel, irregular lines. The border features the Punto Cavallo. Manufactured by Paola Lenti.

Paola Lenti (born 1958 in Alessandria, Italy) graduated from Milan's Polytecnico. In the early 1980s, she started working as an image coordinator and graphic designer for several events and fashion companies. In 1994, she founded her namesake design manufacturing company located in Italy's Meda furniture district just outside of Milan. Her company has become synonymous with textile innovation and its applications for home furnishings - known for its ongoing dedication to both research and experimentation.
