Ayla is a modular rug for exterior and interior environments. The decoration is crafted from one-or two-colors flat braids in Rope yarn and consists of geometrical hexagonal forms with different dimensions positioned according to a pre-determined scheme. The braids are sewn with Punto Zigzag with a thread in matching or contrasting color on stripes with different width in Kimia fabric. The stripes, whose number varies according to the dimension of the rug, are then joined together lengthwise with a braid in Rope yarn. Manufactured by Paola Lenti.
