The Bilbao clock provides tremendous visual presence on any wall that it is placed. With its minimalist form and sheer size, the Bilbao clock is as much kinetic sculpture as it is timepiece. Its circular form is composed of fiberglass in white or black that is trimmed with chromed steel at the imagined three and nine locations; the clock is bisected with a chromed steel rod at the imagined six and twelve locations - this rod also supports the central mechanism with hands that seemingly floats within the disc form. The hands are oversized – their movement interacts beautifully with the clock's minimalist perimeter. Hands are available with a choice of walnut as well as white or black lacquer. The resulting juxtaposition of the materials is extraordinary. Manufactured by Nomon.
