An everyday object, a familiar shape captured in collective memory, bearing a familiar aspect, the trace of a connection. Mathilda is a modern design in the architectural sense, in the proportional relationship between the whole and the detail. The idea is simple, perfect for its intended function: two trestles provide solidity and belonging, supporting the seat while simultaneously serving as supports for the backrest and a stackable support. This thoughtful and sober intuition brings the project into the contemporary, with the potential to evolve into a coherent, functional, and recognizable seating system. Manufactured by Moroso.
