Clay is an lounge chair born from the fusion of contemporary design and artisanal craftsmanship, the result of the collaboration between Zanellato/Bortotto and Moroso. The project continues the research path started with the Mangiafuoco collection, deepening the connection between primordial materials, ancient techniques, and modern forms. The soft, enveloping lines of Clay combine with a truly unique element: a handcrafted ceramic panel serving as the backrest, turning the seat into a genuine functional sculpture. Each piece is handcrafted in the historic ceramics district of Nove (Vicenza), using bi- and three-dimensional slabs enriched with precious glazes and lustres, enhancing the uniqueness of every creation.
