The Party wall lights take their inspiration from a group of five strong, captivating personalities. The Party consists of The Mayor (the wannabe aristocrat), Coco (the opportunist), Bert (the black sheep), Glenn (the patriot), and Ted (the evil mastermind) - Bert is noted here. Each of the Party wall lights features a distinct face in a granular ceramic finish - each countenance, emitting light through its eyes and exaggerated mouth, complements the others. Manufactured by Moooi.

Kranen Gille

Kranen/Gille was founded in 2007 by Jos Kranen (born 1977 in Tegelen, Netherlands) and Johannes Gille (born 1979 in Marburg, Germany). The two designers met each other as students at Design Academy Eindhoven from which each graduated in 2004. They have created work for furniture, lighting, and accessories for several manufacturers including Luftschiff, Moooi, and New Duivendrecht. Switch Modern had the pleasure of hosting an event at our Atlanta showroom for Jos and Johannes - the designers presented their work for Moooi and shared a number of wonderful anecdotes regarding their inspiration for both the Plant Chandelier and the Party Lights.
