The Tahiti table lamp is yet another iconic design by Ettore Sottsass! Introduced as part of Memphis' inaugural collection in 1981, the lamp masterfully combines patterned Bacterio laminate as its base which supports a canted yellow stem that culminates in a pivoting head in pick and red "beak" to direct the light source. A fabulous addition to any surface, Tahiti functions as a wonderful "task lamp" for a desk or workspace. Tahiti is included in the permanent collections of several museums including the Brooklyn Museum, New York; RISD Museum, Providence; and the Brooks Museum of Art, Memphis. Manufactured by Memphis Milano..
