Designed by: Martine Bedin
Manufactured by: Memphis Milano
Martine Bedin's Super lamp was part of Memphis' inaugural collection in 1981 and has remained one of its most beloved designs. With its four rubber wheels, the lamp can literally be pulled (and set into motion) by its cord. SUPER playful; SUPER engaging; SUPER fun - indeed (as its name suggests)... just SUPER! Its blue lacquered fiberglass hemispherical body has six short colorful cylinders that function as sockets for the spherical bulbs. Like so many Memphis lamps, the addition of the exposed bulb is part of the overall aesthetic. While Super can be presented on any surface, it's most at home on the floor. Super is included in the permanent collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. Manufactured by Memphis Milano.
