The Arpa lounge chair combines the stability of the orthogonal external shape with the softness and comfort of the inner cushion shell. The thin strings add elegance and fineness to every piece, giving a special sense of lightness, as if the whole cushion mass was hanging from the structure. Ramon Esteve

Ramón Esteve (born 1964 in Valencia, Spain) is both an architect and designer. In 1991, he founded Ramón Esteve Estudio with the premise that architecture is a global discipline. His training as an architect became a transversal vision where architecture and design form one single concept, almost inseparable, both generated under the same laws and the same design premises. Its aim is the development of complete environments through a mutual interaction between both disciplines. His portfolio includes wide expertise in public buildings such as health, educational, and cultural facilities; private buildings for public use such as offices, hotels, restaurants, and pieces of ephemeral architecture; and exclusive single-family houses that are masterpieces of multidisciplinary philosophy. In the field of product design and art direction, he has collaborated with Gandia Blasco, Inclass, MDF Italia, Porcelanosa, Vibia, and Vondom.
