Umberto Asnago's Corium Collection for Giorgetti features the designer's deft exploration of combining different materials and forms resulting in luxurious and atypical aesthetics. Every aspect of his Corium chest of drawers is downright engaging! The chest features 7 drawers that are supported by a base in bronze finish metal and a columnar support wrapped in saddle leather. In the center of the drawers is a flap door that drops down to reveal two different interiors - one with an arrangement of 15 small drawers or open with a bronze colored tempered crystal glass shelf. The front façade of the chest is punctuated with rectilinear-shaped saddle leather centers that create a striking visual synergy with the saddle-wrapped columnar support. There is even an optional internal drawer separator that can be used for any or all of the top three drawers that again luxuriously combines the wood and leather. As much sculpture as it is storage, the Corium chest of drawers is a visual treat in any interior in which it is used. Manufactured by Giorgetti.
