Overview

The Solanas dining chair is a designer chair created to be elegant but comfortable, hence the organic shapes of its design. It is made with powder-coated welded aluminum profiles and micro-perforated aluminum sheet. The detail of the armrests is made with the special outdoor porcelain material, Dekton by Cosentino. The comfort comes from the thickness and quality of the polyurethane foam rubber cushions, covered with water-repellent fabric. Upholstery can be easily removed and washed. A protective cover is available separately for an additional charge. Manufactured by Gandia Blasco.

Daniel Germani is the creative director and founder of Daniel Germani Designs, a firm that specializes in custom modern furniture, interior design, and architectural renovation. After earning his master's degree in architecture in 1989 from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Germani spent eight years in Europe working in various creative and entrepreneurial endeavors. While his firm is based out of Phoenix, Arizona, Germani travels the world doing collaborative design work with several manufacturers. Germani's aesthetic is influenced by several 20th century architects including Oscar Neimeyer, Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe, and Frank Lloyd Wright. His philosophy is simple, "good design should always be honest and inspiring."
