Overview

As much sculpture as it is an outdoor floor lamp, the Blau Tree is constructed of powder-coated micro-perforated aluminum sheeting that is available in several finishes - white, sand, bronze and anthracite. It is also available in several sizes. The Blau Tree lamp is designed for use outdoors with an LED illumination source. Manufactured by Gandia Blasco.

Fran Silvestre

Fran Silvestre (born 1976 in Valencia, Spain) graduated with a degree in architecture from Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura in Valencia. Silvestre also holds a degree in urban planning from the Eindhoven Technical University in the Netherlands, as well as a PhD from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. In addition to his product designs for Spanish manufacturers, Capdell and Gandia Blasco, Silvestre has won numerous architecture awards for both his private residences as well as public buildings.
