The Tramas collection is a design that explores the aesthetic and manual crafting possibilities when different types of materials are mixed in the same piece, generating a composition with a very graphic character. The dense and soft surface of the felt provides a sensation of warmth and comfort, introducing a layer of visual depth to the Tramas rugs which, in combination with wool, generates tactile and aesthetic contrasts that enrich the texture and perception of the piece. In this collection, it is as if during the conception of its design the framework had been deconstructed to regenerate a new type of weave, with another manufacturing process, other materials, and a novel aesthetic. The biggest challenge in its creation lies in working in different dimensions, as the combination of different materials, colors, and textures requires meticulous attention to detail. This entire process has resulted in an apparently very simple design in the style of a graphic weave that, as in painting or graphic design, generates an effect of depth and three dimensions visually and, in this case, also spatially as it is a rug.
