Described by its designer, Grande Soffice "is a sculpture that fits into people's houses as a monument or an obelisk or a cathedral fits into the urban space. It is itself an architecture, a primordial, sophisticated nest." Binfare's Grande Soffice (in Italian, literally meaning "big soft") features a range of modular pieces that can be configured together to create a number of seating options. With its soft lines, smoothed corners, and sensuous curves, Grande Soffice exudes comfort – it also connotes movement. An integral component of Grande Soffice is Edra's proprietary "smart pillow" that acts as backrests, adjustable at will and separately, allowing total freedom of positions. All versions of the Grande Soffice are available in several fabric and leather upholstery options with removable covers. Manufactured by Edra.
