Gino Carollo (born 1965 in Thiene, Italy) started his industrial design career in 1990. In 1999, he founded his own design office, Studio 28 Gino Carollo - in addition to furniture designs, his studio also develops exhibition spaces and showrooms. Carollo has created products for several manufacturers including Arketipo, Bonaldo, Calligaris, Cattelan Italia, David, Draenert, Leolux, Posada, Reflex, Rolf Benz, and Schonbuch. He has been the recipient of numerous design awards including the prestigious Red Dot, IF Design, and German Design Awards.
