The droplet-like form of the Koura suspension light mimics the curled form of New Zealand's native freshwater shrimp koura, named by the indigenous Maori people. David Trubridge was also inspired by the intricately made traps used by early Maori to catch koura. A markedly sculptural piece that has a strong visual presence, Koura is available in a wide range of sizes and finishes.
