The 8 Tabouret tournant swivel low stool takes inspiration from the swivel armchair designed in 1927 by Charlotte Perriand for her Place Saint-Sulpice apartment in Paris. It was also among the furniture pieces exhibited at the Salon d'Automne in 1929. Included as part of the collection co-authored by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, its iconic, versatile shape reflects their desire to simplify mass production by employing common elements. With sustainability in mind, the stool is made using circular materials. In fact, the cushion padding is made of recycled polyester wadding. Manufactured by Cassina.
