Italo Rota
Italo Rota (born 1953 in Milan, Italy) received a degree in architecture in 1982 from Milan Polytechnic University.  At the end of the 1980s, he moved to Paris, where he worked (with Gae Aulenti) on the renovation of the Centre Pompidou, the new rooms of the French school at the Cour Carré at Louvre, the lighting of the Notre Dame cathedral, and the renovation of the Centre of Nantes.  His namesake studio handles the complexities of major international projects, from product design to the design of large urban areas.  Italo Rota has been the recipient of several design awards.
