Pete Sans describes himself as an industrial sculptor and furniture sketcher.  Son of the artist Jaume Sans, he grew up surrounded by pigments and manifestos, breathing the cultural energy of postwar Barcelona.  Restless and self-taught, he moved from photography to graphic design before fully devoting himself to furniture and lighting--fields where he projected a radical, poetic, and essential vision.
