Guglielmo Poletti
Guglielmo Poletti (born 1987 in Milan, Italy) graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven, Netherlands, where he earned an MA in Contextual Design.  He founded his design practice in 2016.  From the very beginning Poletti has developed a truly consistent visual language that is deeply rooted in a hands-on investigation.  His research explores the limits of materials in relation to their use - challenging our perceptions of balance, precariousness, and structural strength.  Through his work, the manipulation of subtle details can lead to unexpectedly powerful outcomes, allowing him to achieve a significant visual impact through minimum interventions.  Poletti's works have been published and presented internationally.  The prototype of his "Equilibrium Stool" has been acquired by the Design Museum Gent for its permanent collection.  Poletti has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades.
