Flavia del Pra studied textile design and ceramics in London. She was part of the Cockpit Arts design team in London and set up her own studio in Brazil in 2009 where she works creating tiles.  She is known for her visually engaging patterns that play with geometry and bold colors, particularly in her trays that are manufactured from aluminum that is coated in copper and topped with ceramic.  These trays, including a line of pedestal options, are meant for both serving and display.  Among her most prominent works, del Pra has created handmade ceramic lamps with textile shades for Le Bon Marche and Anthropologie.  Flavia del Pra is a recurring designer for GAN having created nine exclusive styles for the line with plans to add more objects in the future.
