Established in 1957, Italy's Danese Milano has been synonymous with award-winning designs from Bruno Munari and Enzo Mari that figure prominently in the permanent collections of museums worldwide. Mari's Ameland sensual letter opener (1964) or his enigmatic, canted In Atessa wastebasket (1971) challenge preconceived notions of how everyday objects can look. The designer's large format graphic screen prints of fruit and animals from the 1960s and 1970s instantly become bright, Pop focal point on any wall - and are a favorite in kids' rooms. Over the ensuing decades, Danese Milano has collaborated with Angelo Mangiarotti, Achille Castiglioni, Kuno Prey, and Marco Ferreri. Just recently, Ron Gilad was appointed as the manufacturer's creative director and we are excited about presenting new pieces as they become available.
