Chi Wing Lo

Chi Wing Lo (born 1954 in Hong Kong) was raised in Hong Kong and studied architecture at Harvard University, earning a master's degree and winning the best thesis prize in 1988. The designer is well-known for his furniture produced by brands including Giorgetti, a company for which he served as art director from 2004 to 2006. In addition to his commercial furniture design, Chi Wing Lo has worked on projects in major cities around the world, including designing a piece to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of Hong Kong's unification with China. He was nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Prize in Architecture for his Tower-House in Athens in 2009.
