
Antonia Astori (born 1940 in Mezlo, Italy) studied industrial and visual design at the Athenaeum in Lausanne, graduating in 1966. She founded Driade in 1968 with brother Enico and Adelaide Acerbi, designing the furniture for which she is now well–known. Some of her more prominent pieces include the Project Aforismi, San Souci Collection, Virginia Writing Desk, and Eileen Bookcase. Antonia Astori's designs are still manufactured by Driade. Her work has been featured at exhibitions and other events around the world, including Turin, Tokyo, and Verona.
