Flavio Caronni (born 1952) has been involved with furniture and interior design since the early 1970s.  At the same time Donato Bonanomi (born 1952) was active as a designer within the textile industry.  They formally established their architecture studio in 1990 and have been involved in numerous projects in both architecture and design.  They are well-known for the minimalist designs and systems that they have created for Italian manufacturer Desalto.
