Lina Obregón (born 1972 in Colombia) graduated in 1995 with a degree in industrial design from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellìn, Colombia, and, in 1997, received a master's degree in bionics and design from the Istituto Europeo di Design Milan, Italy.  Obregón has lived and worked in Milan since 2000.  She has collaborated with several manufacturers including recent designs for MDF Italia and Paola Lenti.
