Bolota is a limited edition series of stools or tables that feature a striking juxtaposition of materials - exotic Afrormosia wood or maple combined with black cork. The results are extraordinary - each Bolota Scallop stool or table is as much sculpture as it is seat or surface. Noted here is the Bolota Scallop stool or table that features a seat of dense black cork that has been inlaid with wood - the form's entire perimeter has then been "scalloped" into a surround of remarkable undulations.
