The MT3 rocking chair, like the rest of Ron' Arad's MT Collection, is a play on the pronunciation of the word "empty," emphasizing the emptiness which is the key element of the design. This "negative volume" is achieved through rotational molding, resulting in a visually striking hollow interior. The bi-color finish is accomplished by a two-step process where, once extracted from the mold, a five-axis laser cuts off the lateral ends of the product revealing the two-tone side of the rocking chair. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Manufactured by Driade.
