The Aurora Due Bed embraces you. The headboard frame is made of beech wood. The base frame is made of poplar plywood. Both are padded with light polyurethane foam and upholstered in Pelle Frau leather. The back feet extend the headboard down to the floor. Front base support is available in two different styles, a solid trapezoidal plank or a trapezoidal metal frame. An optional wooden front base is finished with black non-scratch paint. The metal version is available in a black, gunmetal, or chrome-plated finish. Price includes bedstead base insert. Mattress is available for an additional charge. Manufactured by Poltrona Frau.

Tito Agnoli

Tito Agnoli (1931 – 2012) was born to an Italian family in Lima, Peru. He came to Italy after World War II and originally trained as a painter. He subsequently enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture where he graduated in 1959 and became an assistant to both Gio Ponti and Carlo De Darli. He has created a number of designs for several manufacturers including Arflex, Cinova, Lema, Matteo Grassi, Molteni, Montina, Oluce, Pierantonio Bonacina, Poltrona Frau, Schiffini, Ycami. Throughout his lifetime, Agnoli was nominated several times for the prestigious Compasso d’Oro Award. His work is included in the permanent collections of several museums including New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
