Sixty years after the first collection was introduced by Poul Kjærholm and Ejvind Kold Christensen, the PK22 lounge chair and the PK61 low table have been re-launched in an exclusive anniversary edition. The PK61 tabletop comes in Petra marble, a durable and beautiful surface wtih an exquisite high-end look and feel to it. Petra is an elegant deep gray marble with distinctive white veining suitable for modern contemporary design. The Petra marble originates from ancient Persia and is used worldwide for leading interior decoration. It is a strong and hard marble with a very low absorption, which makes it easy to maintain. The satin brushed steel frame has a new surface of electro plated anthricite that adds a semi-transparent surface while rendering the characteristics of the steel visible. Available for a limited period of 12 months only, each item comes with a distinct anniversary stamp on them. Manufactured by Fritz Hansen.
