30 years has passed since the launch of Le Canapé sofa, characterized by a rich tufting upholstery, which is nowadays so current and desired. The sofa was immediately conceived with an innovative vision as the tufting, completely handcrafted, was substituted by reinventing the classical button with an original two-buttonholes topstitch. Le Canapé is generously upholstered; the classic round backrest is substituted by a squared outline and a seat that welcomes two roll armrests in feather. The contemporary frame of the sofa, linear and grounded focuses the attention on the classic upholstery made of “small cushions”, maintaining the somber and stylish look of sofas coming from the beginning of the century. 30 years later, Le Canapé is considered an evergreen model of the Flexform collection.
Le Canapé sofa is available in three sizes, in wood with polyurethane and dacron padding covered with a protective fabric lining. Seat cushions are spring with polyurethane and dacron padding. Backrest cushions are polyurethane and dacron padding. Rectangular feet are solid canaletto walnut, extra canaletto walnut, or natural ashwood. Stained teak, wenge, ebony, walnut or cherry. Upholstery in removable fabric or leather covers. Optional ottoman also available. Price includes shipping to the USA.
