Guido Venturini (born 1957 in Alfonsine, Italy) is a designer and architect who works in the areas of interior design, industrial design, and architecture. Much of his work is inspired by music, one of his great passions. Beginning in the 1990s, he created glassware, dinnerware, and other tabletop accessories for Alessi. Guido Venturini founded the Bolidist group in 1985 with fellow architect Stefano Giovannoni and together the pair created King-Kong Productions the same year. The brand is known for playful, cartoon-inspired designs on containers, picture frames and other household products. In addition to his design work, Venturini has taught at Florence Faculty of Architecture and Domus Academy.
