Katerina Handlova (born 1988 in Prague, Czech Republic) is a graduate of the Atelier of Glass at AAAD Prague (Academy of Arts Prague).  She combines glass with different materials such as leather, ropes or porcelain to create objects that mediate her personal experiences as well as her fascination with world of haute couture. Handlova finds beauty in the physical quality of craftsmanship.  She is passionate about the unique character of the material itself and her masterful approach to contextualizing it.
