Ferreol Babin (born 1987 in Dijon, France) first graduated in Space Design in ENSA of Dijon and then moved to Japan to attend the Nagoya University of Art & Design.  Realizing that architecture and space were not the right scale for his expression, he decided to focus on objects.  He then worked as an intern at Studio Robert Stadler in Paris and, in 2012, graduated with a degree in object design from École Supérieure d'Art et de Design, Reims, France.  He quickly discovered that working with light was his favorite medium – a mechanism with which to link a physical object with the space that surrounds it.
