Lota Sofa

The apartment of Madame Mathieu-Levy on Rue de Lota in Paris was regarded as one of the most sensational examples of French interior architecture of the 1920's. Eileen Gray had created the decor over a period of five years. Among them was the sofa Lota with its luxurious cushions and multicolored lacquered side pieces. Angular cubes and soft cushions, aesthetics and comfort; the Lota surmounts all contradictions and reconciles all dogma. Padded beech wood frame with spring interior. Seat cushion with natural down filling. Loose back and side cushions are filled with natural down and stabilizers. Sideboxes finished in high-gloss lacquered MDF, mounted on rollers. Front and back are black, top and sides in Chinese red, beige, gray or black. Cover in fabric or leather. Price includes shipping to the USA. Manufactured by ClassiCon.
