KK47000 Safari Chair
Kaare Klint's aim is to create a light, portable armchair. The chair can be easily assembled and disassembled without tools, making it ideal for use in the field. The functional chair is often described as the world's first 'build-it-yourself' furniture item, and is the result of comprehensive knowledge of materials and the human body's ergonomic requirements.
The Safari Chair is made from oil-treated ash, in both smoked and light versions, using wood from Danish forests. A buttoned seat cushion is included with the chair. When the chair is ordered with stitched leather arm straps, the color will always be the same as the seat and back. Matching Safari Footrest can be purchased separately. Manufactured by Carl Hansen & Son.
