Pateo Watch
Pateo is Latin for open passage. Mahlamaki design for the Pateo watch is inspired by his work on the Museum of the History of Polish Jews. The design vignette on the watch dial is a two-dimensional representation of the most notable architectural element found in the main hall of the museum; a pure and silent space which literally carves a passage for visitors to discover the museum and the history contained. The Pateo watch case is made of brushed stainless steel. It is available with a mesh stainless steel band or a black leather band. The watch with the mesh stainless steel band has a brushed finish on the dial and an engraved vignette. The watch with the black band had a brushed finish on the dial with a black vignette and signature to match the leather strap. Intended to be worn by both men and women. Manufactured by Projects.
