Bellevue AJ3 Table Lamp

The Bellevue Lamp was Jacobsen's first lighting design inspired by modern tubular steel manufacture and modernist design of the Bauhaus era.  The 45 degree cut shade appeared again on his famous Bellevue petrol station and went on to be a feature of some of his later lighting designs.  Its form directs the light without excessive glare.  The simple goose-neck design and clean construction echoes the modernist ambitions of his peers such as Le Corbusier, Mies Van Der Rohe and Alvar Aalto.
The Bellvue collection is available in as table, floor, and wall lamps. Made of lacquered aluminum, with a steel structure in matte black or semi-gloss white with a 9 foot fabric cord. The table lamp requires one E26 60W bulb or one E26 12W Compact Fluorescent Bulb.  Manufactured by &Tradition.

Designed in 1929.
22.75" W, 10.75" D, 20.25" H
