The fixture emits a soft and comfortable illumination.  The hemispherical shade reflects the light downwards, and the material used ensures that the majority of the light is spread diffusely in the room from the surface of the shade.  The base and housing are created from injection molded ABS.  The shade is created from injection molded white opal acrylic.  Fixture comes with a white cord and the in-line on/off foot switch is provided.  Lamp requires one 75W A-19 medium incandescent bulb.  Suitable for dry locations.  UL listed.  Manufactured by Louis Poulsen.
