‘Guardian of Light’, a clear juxtaposition between tradition in shape and innovation in the unveiling and slicing of light.  The Guardians of Light look like classic lampshades until they are switched on, at which point you realize that the classical form conceals an innovative idea: the shade is a cloak that wraps around itself, keeping the magic of the light secret.  When the cloak is opened, by means of the protruding flap, the lamp gently releases its light, which goes out again when the cloak is closed.

The Guardian of Light floor lamp features a polycarbonate shade and a liquid rubber coated metal structure.  Both shade and structure come in the same finishes: matte black, aluminium grey, matte white.

It has “soft start” feature so that it can be switched on and off automatically when the shade is opened and closed, or has a magnetic contact that operates the electronic power supply.

Fitted with 2 double glass 150W halogen: E27 Connection/fitting for 230V version; E26 connection/fitting for 110V version.  Manufactured by Pallucco.
